At the Board of Director's meeting on March 10, 2021, the Board voted to name long-time IPA Director and Secretary-Treasurer Caren Mansfield as an Honorary Director.

Honorary Directors act as advisers to the Board but do not have the right to vote on any matters submitted to a vote of directors.

Honorary Members are Regular or Associate Members who have (1) either (a) retired from the paralegal profession or (b) left the paralegal profession, and (2) made a significant contribution to the Corporation by serving for at least ten years (a) as a Director on the Board, (b) successively as a Committee Chair of one or more committees of the Corporation.

Caren is in good company, joining IPA's other Honorary Directors:

• Christine Hansen (appointed in 2004)
• Sharon Patterson (appointed in 2014)

The IPA thanks Caren for her many years of service to the IPA and to the paralegal profession.
