An Intro to Long-Term Care Insurance Policies & Best Practices

This session will provide an overview of Long-Term Care Insurance and the different types of LTCI policies available, as well as planning strategies and best practices for using LTCI in your practice.

Lori Gubash is the National LTCI Director for The Krause Agency—a Wisconsin-based firm that specializes in long-term care planning through the use of Medicaid Compliant Annuities and other insurance products. Although her day-to-day responsibilities vary greatly, Lori’s primary duties involve leading and developing the LTC Solutions team and ensuring we are providing the best possible Long-Term Care Insurance and business development solutions for our agents and their senior clients.

Lori graduated from the College of St. Scholastica with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA). She also has her Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC) and is a Fraternal Insurance Councilor (FIC).

Lori has over 20 years of experience in the long-term care industry, and she believes everyone has the right to plan for their long-term care. Lori enjoys helping agents develop these plans and working with advisors to illuminate the need for long-term care planning before their senior clients no longer have multiple options for care.
