This session will discuss common leasing arrangements for healthcare providers, how the Stark law and Anti-Kickback Statute affect commercial leases in healthcare, and how leases are structured to comply with applicable healthcare laws.

Matt’s experience includes handling purchasing and sale transactions, negotiating health care lease arrangements, and general corporate matters. He also has experience in non-profit formation and governance issues.
Mark Adams is a Shareholder at Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman, P.C. His practice focuses on business and transactional law, real estate, corporate law, taxation and complex commercial litigation. Mark represents for-profit as well as nonprofit enterprises. He is highly experienced in complex real and personal property tax exemption matters. Mark is a frequent author and presenter for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE).
