There is a critical gap in access to justice within Illinois. Whether it is unmet legal needs, a lack of resources, or financial constraints, many Illinoisans struggle to access adequate legal representation. The Illinois Paralegal Association supports the Illinois Supreme Court’s initiative to explore alternative practitioner programs.

One of IPA's purposes is to advance the paralegal profession. In so doing, we will be featuring articles to aid you in career development in this section of The Lookout.
