THE LOOKOUT
August 2025

On August 6, the IPA proudly hosted its 3rd Annual State of the Paralegal Profession, bringing together legal professionals from several states to explore the evolving role of paralegals including paralegal licensure and the challenges and goals associated with it.  Our presenters shared how licensing has enabled them to serve their communities more directly and effectively. The event also emphasized the importance of continued education and reinforced that paralegals can significantly and positively impact access to justice. Staying educated and informed allows paralegals to rise to the challenges and opportunities that present themselves.

One of IPA's purposes is to advance the paralegal profession. In so doing, we will be featuring articles to aid you in career development in this section of The Lookout.
